Behavior Modification
Behavior Modification is our program for dogs whose behavior is getting in the way of everyday life at home and out in public. In North Texas, it is done in your home.

What made you start looking for help?
Is it jumping on guests, barking at everything, getting into things when you leave, or reacting on walks in a way that makes you nervous? How long has it been going on, and what have you tried so far?
What happens if nothing changes?
Behavior problems don't usually fix themselves. When a behavior gets practiced every day, it becomes the habit. If nothing changes, what does home look like six months from now?
Now imagine the opposite
Guests come in and your dog stays calm. You leave the house without wondering what you'll come home to. You walk past other dogs without bracing for it. That's the goal.
How Behavior Modification works
We start by understanding what's going on and what you want life with your dog to look like, then we build the program around that. Your trainer comes to your home Tuesday through Saturday for two weeks. Tuesday through Friday we train your dog, and on Saturday we work with you, so you learn everything your dog learned that week. On the second Saturday, you and your dog graduate. Then you continue in group classes. Lasting change depends on structure, guidance and consistency at home, so you're part of the process. Behavior Modification includes one year of behavioral insurance, and group class attendance is required to keep it active.
Let's figure out what's really going on.
At your free in-home consultation we'll see your dog where the behavior actually happens and talk through what you want life to look like.

Every North Texas program is done in your home.
Your trainer comes to your home Tuesday through Saturday for two weeks. Tuesday through Friday we train your dog, and on Saturday we work with you, so you learn everything your dog learned that week.
On the second Saturday, you and your dog graduate. If you're not quite there yet, that's fine. We continue working to help you get the results.
You get the same behavioral insurance and the same group classes that come with your program.
Not sure which program fits your dog? That's exactly what we'll figure out together at your free in-home consultation.

That's the first question we'll ask at your free in-home consultation. We come to you, meet your dog where the problems actually happen, and build a program around what you want life to look like. Make sure everyone who's part of the decision can be there. We know there's a lot of options in the area, and we don't take it lightly when you choose us.
