What would life look like if your dog actually listened?
Epic Dog Academy brings in-home dog training to North Texas. We're results based. You get one program, done in your home, and your dog stays in training until your dog is trained.

Does any of this sound familiar?
Does your dog drag you down the street the second the leash goes on? When someone comes to the door, are you apologizing to your guests or putting the dog in another room? Does your dog bark or lunge at other dogs on walks, so you've started walking at odd hours just to avoid everyone? Or does your dog know sit in the kitchen and forget everything the minute you step outside?
What happens if nothing changes?
Here's the part most people don't think about until we ask. How long has this been going on, and what have you tried so far? If nothing changes over the next six months, what does that look like for you and your family? Fewer walks, fewer guests, leaving the dog home when you'd rather bring them along? If nothing changes, nothing changes.
Now picture the other side
What would you like to be able to do with your dog that you can't comfortably do today? A calm walk around the neighborhood. Having friends over without the chaos. Taking your dog to a patio, a hike or a busy store and actually enjoying it. That's what we build toward: a fully trained dog that fits your life.
Let's talk about your dog.
Every program starts with a free in-home consultation. We come to you, see what's going on, and talk about what you want life with your dog to look like.

What we're actually teaching
We're not teaching your dog to sit just because sitting looks good. We're teaching your dog to understand the verbal and the physical of what we're asking, in the context we're asking it, so they can follow through even when the environment gets distracting. The goal is a dog you can take places and an owner who knows how to keep it going.
How training at home works
Your trainer comes to your home Tuesday through Saturday for two weeks. Tuesday through Friday we train your dog, and on Saturday we work with you, so you learn everything your dog learned that week. On the second Saturday, you and your dog graduate. Then you keep building it in group classes.
Behavioral insurance
Every training program comes with behavioral insurance. Think of it as a version of a warranty. If the training slips, we come back out at no cost. On Leash, Behavior Modification and Aggressive Dog include one year of behavioral insurance, and Honor Roll includes lifetime behavioral insurance. To keep it active, you stay involved and keep coming to group classes.
On Leash
On Leash is our program for a dog that listens on a leash, in real life, not just in the backyard.
Behavior Modification
Behavior Modification is our program for dogs whose behavior is getting in the way of everyday life at home and out in public.
Aggressive Dog Program
The Aggressive Dog Program is our program for dogs with aggression, built on clear boundaries and selected socialization.
Honor Roll
Honor Roll is our program for a dog that's fully trained on and off leash.
What would you like to be able to do with your dog six months from now?
That's the first question we'll ask at your free in-home consultation. We come to you, meet your dog where the problems actually happen, and build a program around what you want life to look like. Make sure everyone who's part of the decision can be there. We know there's a lot of options in the area, and we don't take it lightly when you choose us.
